The Quin Hotel

The Quin Hotel NY. Project: Perkins Eastman, 2013. A luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan at the intersection of 57th Street and Sixth Avenue. The restyling of the hotel, designed by Emery Roth in the early 20th century, has turned the previous rather ostentatiousness design into an elegant and restrained contemporary composition of materials, furnishings, colors and coverings that make it a go-to destination in the Big Apple. The hotel has 200 rooms, a restaurant, spa, convention center and permanent art gallery. Assignment: sliding wooden doors for the room interiors.

On Rivington Hotel

On Rivington Hotel. Project: Grzywinski + Pons, 2005. Located in Manhattan's Lower East Side, it has one hundred and eleven rooms distributed over twenty-two fully-glazed floors that take full advantage of the views of New York City offered by the spectacular location and height of the building, producing an interactive relationship between the city, building and guests that has become one of the most fascinating and intriguing characteristics of the project. Assignment: Rasomuro doors and furniture (e.g. closets)...

459 W 18th

459 W 18th Street. Project: Della Valle + Bernkeimer, 2009. A residential project located between two of the most vibrant neighborhoods, the Meatpacking District and Chelsea, on Manhattan's West Side. The stringent and rigorous exterior of the building, consisting of composite panels and white and clear glass, interacts and conceals the measured calmness of the interior. 140 Franklin Street

140 Franklin Street, New York. Project: AA Studio, 2001. One of the most spectacular examples of Romanesque Revival buildings designed by the architect Albert Wagner in 1889. Located in the center of Tribeca, the imposing brick building has huge arched windows. It is an early example of a loft building conversion, with luxury lofts and penthouses combining high-end materials and close attention to every architectural detail. Assignment: custom Lcd62 doors (green gloss lacquered door leaf with glass insert)....

CIMA Art Gallery

CIMA, which stands for Center for Italian Modern Art, is a foundation created in 2013 in New York City, having the aim of promoting and advancing the awareness and study of modern and contemporary Italian art, both internationally and within the United States. Each academic year, its spacious loft in Soho hosts an exhibition of an Italian artist who is representative of Italian modern art and who has rarely exhibited in the United States. 25 Bond Street

25 Bond Street, New York. Project: BKSK Architects, 2007. Located in a quiet street in NoHo, the building reflects the changes in a historic New York City neighborhood. The industrial language is in line with the character of the surrounding buildings, while the asymmetric pattern of the façade, with two different types of stone that create a double layer screen wall animated by varying dimensions and irregularity, provides a highly contemporary element.

357 W 17th

357 West 17th NY. Project: Workshop Design + Architecture, PLLC, 2016. Located in West Chelsea, one of Manhattan's liveliest neighborhoods, this luxury detached building possesses a minimalist design style. Meticulously studied down to the last detail, from the garage to the spectacular rooftop, it uses the finest Italian materials and finishes and incorporates custom furniture. Earth colors, with their rich and fine tones, connect the spaces together to create uniformity, guiding movement between one room and another, and between the different levels. Assignment: custom sliding and swing doors, furniture and paneling....
