ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be a resource with proven experience in managing complex warehouses (at least 10 years of experience in a similar role), preferably in the same industry as the company (wood-furniture).

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
The logistics manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Guarantee correct stock levels, ensuring they are efficiently and cost-effectively managed in accordance with principles of effectiveness
• Plan and organise the receipt of goods from both suppliers and contractors
• Plan the procurement of raw materials throughout the entire production process, guaranteeing their proper management and reporting
• Promote and ensure the application of correct handling, storage, shipping and recording procedures for all material handling activities
• Ensure the timely preparation of goods and necessary organisation for shipment of the finished product
• Ensure inventories are managed in accordance with the established procedures and time frames
• Coordinate the activities of their collaborators, defining their roles and responsibilities and planning for their professional development

• Strong and consolidated experience in techniques for improving the efficiency of logistics activities
• Excellent capacity for planning and organisation of work flows
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to assume risks and responsibilities
