Just steps from Milan Central Station, Excelsior Hotel Gallia is one of the city’s most iconic luxury hotels. Originally built in 1932, the historic building has been meticulously restored and expanded with a new steel-and-glass architectural wing, merging heritage and innovation in a bold, modern aesthetic.

Designed by Studio Marco Piva, the interiors reinterpret Art Deco inspiration with refined materials and tailor-made furnishings. The Design Suites are dedicated to some of the most celebrated figures in Italian design—including Vico Magistretti, Achille Castiglioni, Giò Ponti, Luigi Caccia Dominioni, and Franco Albini—and are furnished with their signature creations, underlining the project’s symbolic and cultural value.

Lualdi contributed to this prestigious project with customized door and partition solutions for guestrooms and suites, ensuring technical performance and aesthetic integration:

• Fire-rated REI 60 entrance doors, clad in leather and detailed with metallic inserts, ensure safety without compromising on elegance.
• Integrated sliding doors, designed to optimize space and maintain seamless wall continuity.
• Bespoke boiserie and decorative wall panels, custom-designed to match the furniture and elevate the interior atmosphere in harmony with the hotel’s concept.
